TOPSOIL Bursary
The British Sugar TOPSOIL Training Bursary 2022

The UK’s largest supplier of topsoil to the construction, landscaping and amenity sectors, British Sugar TOPSOIL, will award a bursary of up to £500, to pay for training courses in any of the following sectors:
- Groundworks/Construction
- Landscape contracting
- Greenkeeping
- Groundsmanship
- Garden design
ELIGIBILITY
- Awards are made subject to confirmation by an intended recipient that their household income is below £35,000 per annum before taxation
- Training courses cited in all applications must be accredited by a recognised UK awarding body and delivered by an accredited UK training provider
- Applicants must confirm they have their employer’s permission to undertake the training requested if they are successful

Applicants should download the Application Form and Terms & Conditions from this web page, complete the form in full and email it by no later than Friday, 29th April 2022 to topsoil@britishsugar.com with ‘Training Bursary’ in the email subject line, together with an accompanying personal statement of no more than 500 words explaining:
- What training the bursary will pay for/contribute towards
- Why you want to undertake the training, including where you are currently in your career (including details of any industry-related training you have undertaken to date or are currently undergoing), how it will help further your career ambitions, and your goals for the future
Limit one (1) entry per person, which must be written in English. All entries become the property of the sponsor, British Sugar TOPSOIL, and no responsibility for late, misdirected, or unintelligible entries will be accepted by the sponsor.
Information you supply when you complete this form will be held and used by TOPSOIL, for the purpose of considering your application and your suitability for employment and will be retained for no longer than necessary for these purposes unless you agree otherwise.
