TH Groundcare

Founded in 2016 and based near Norwich, TH Groundcare provides a complete sports turf and grounds maintenance service to sports clubs and grounds, schools, estates, homes and businesses throughout Norfolk. Owner Tim Hales works extensively with Norfolk FA, caring for the county’s natural turf club football pitches. He recently took delivery of 120 tonnes of British Sugar TOPSOIL's Landscape20.
Before selecting Landscape20, Tim visited British Sugar’s Wissington factory where he saw the topsoil production process for himself - from the arrival of the rich, arable soils that adhere to the sugar beet, through to the screening and blending of the final products. He was able to appreciate the care with which all TOPSOIL products are created and then stored under cover, ensuring they are fit for purpose all year round.
The Landscape20 was used at Narborough Sports & Social club to level out the pitch. Once the soil had settled, two weeks later, Tim seeded the pitch with a Perennial Rye Grass. He then used a Polymer-coated fertiliser to feed the pitch. Landscape20 was chosen as the sandy loam topsoil is ideal when re-seeding a pitch.
Tim has previously used our Sports&Turf as a top dressing on pitches at Fakenham Town Football Club and Mulbarton Sports & Social Club. This is part of their annual maintenance programme.
Tim says he is extremely happy with the product and service he received. He is really pleased with the results and how it has helped the level out the pitch.
