Downham Town Cricket Club play in the Norfolk Alliance, Mid Norfolk Sunday league and various mid-week cup competitions. The club runs 3 youth teams that play in the West Norfolk Youth League. Over the past 10 season the club has been very successful winning the Norfolk Alliance Premier Division 5 times, a record no of wins for this league.
Nick Kelly (left of picture): The clubs overseas player 2015 and 2016. Born in Australia and now residing in NZ. Plays for Northern Districts in NZ and just been rewarded with a 1st class contract for the first time. Returned to Downham for a 2nd stint after a successful season in 2015 scoring 1126 runs and taking 35 wickets.
Rob King (centre): Clubs Vice chairman and 1st team wicket keeper, highly regarded as the best keeper in the division and recipient of the Norfolk Alliance most dismissals trophy in 2013.
Tom Tansley (right of picture): Recently elevated to the 1st team after playing through all the levels, joined the club as a junior and now opening the batting regularly for the 1st XI.
