British Sugar TOPSOIL donates HortLoam to Fane Road allotments

British Sugar TOPSOIL are proud to support The Fane Road Allotments in Peterborough by donating 40 tonnes of our premier planting topsoil HortLoam. Sadly the Allotments suffered a devastating arson attack, where several of the allotment holders’ sheds were lost including equipment. The HortLoam has been used to create raised beds for vegetable planting.
Kevin Marratt, secretary at Fane Road Allotments, said:
“I would just like to say how very grateful we are for the donation from your company of 40 Tonnes of lovely topsoil ... you and your company have made so many plot holders very happy with this topsoil especially the ones that had sheds damaged by our arson attack we had. It just means these people can re-start to build their allotments back up again. So once again what a lovely donation and thank you British Sugar for your support & help through this difficult time “
